why we exist

A day spa that
refuses to rush you

Lumé began with a simple frustration: that most spa visits feel processed. We built the opposite.

The beginning

Built by a therapist, for tired people

After fifteen years working in busy clinics and high-volume spas, our founder kept noticing the same thing: the treatments were good, but the experience around them undid the calm. Overlapping bookings, bright rooms, the quiet pressure to be out by the hour.

Lumé is the correction. One guest per room. A menu short enough that every therapist is genuinely expert in all of it. Time built in before and after, because the nervous system doesn’t settle on command.

The result is a smaller, slower business by design — and the kind of place people return to monthly, not once a year.

What guides us

Three quiet principles

Less, done fully

A short menu we believe in beats a long one we tolerate. Depth over breadth, every time.

Time is the luxury

The thing people can’t buy back is unhurried time. We protect it fiercely on your behalf.

Care you can feel

Real attention can’t be scripted. We hire for it, train for it, and refuse to rush past it.

How we got here

A short history

01

The idea

A therapist tired of conveyor-belt spas sketches a different kind of room — single-guest, unhurried, quiet.

02

First room

Lumé opens with one treatment room, three therapists, and a short menu chosen with care.

03

The lounge

A tea lounge and botanical bar are added so visits can begin and end slowly, not abruptly.

04

A small team

Membership arrives by request, and the team grows to the size it is today — still small, still by name.

Reading about unhurried is one thing. Book an hour and let your shoulders be the judge.
